Power float operator — Wyoming County

Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Wyoming County, New York. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
