Immediate opening: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Hamilton County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
