Press machine operator • Washington County, Maine

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Washington County, Maine. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
