Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Vermilion County, Illinois. You will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
