Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Koochiching County, Minnesota. The job is at a powder coating unit. Day to day you will apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
