Heavy equipment operator — Montrose County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Montrose County, Colorado. You will work on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; check for underground cables and services before digging. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Performance bonus on top of base pay.
