Vacancy available: ceiling and wall plasterer (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Day-to-day duties: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
