Rebar foreman — Chenango County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Chenango County, New York. The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
