Immediate opening: we are hiring a loader/unloader in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a builders' merchant yard. You should have: • Able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift • Previous warehouse or stores experience Day to day you will put away stock into racking locations following FIFO; weigh and measure parcels for courier collection; assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay; pick orders from racking using a handheld scanner and pick list; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS; operate a counterbalance or reach forklift to move pallets.
