Butcher — Honolulu County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Honolulu County, Hawaii. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
