Milling machine operator • Dawson County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Dawson County, Georgia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Day to day you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits.
