We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Suwannee County, Florida. The job is in a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
