Fusing press operator — Owsley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Owsley County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
