Machine setter-operator wanted in Jones County

Join our team: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Jones County, Iowa. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Your main tasks: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
