Crane rigger — Gubio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Gubio, Borno State. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
