Rebar foreman — Logan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Logan County, West Virginia. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
