Cake decorator — Houghton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Houghton County, Michigan. The job is in a bread factory. The role involves rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
