VMC operator — Pendleton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
