Plastering hand — Lubbock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Lubbock County, Texas. The role involves: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline 5+ years on the tools preferred.
