Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish 4+ years on the tools preferred.
