Counter butcher — Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Wayne County, Nebraska. Day to day you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
