Meat trimmer — Todd County

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Todd County, South Dakota. You will be based in a meat processing plant. You will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
