Tile mason — Middlesbrough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile mason in Middlesbrough, England. The job is at a bathroom renovation job. Day-to-day duties: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience Six days a week, one day off.
