Excavator operator wanted in Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Somerset County, Maine. Day-to-day duties: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Part-time with flexible hours.
