Tile setter • Kearny County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile setter in Kearny County, Kansas. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. The role involves mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts 1+ years on the tools preferred. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
