Rebar foreman — Mid Ulster

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites £3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
