Formwork carpenter — Carson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Carson County, Texas. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
