Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Ocean County, New Jersey. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
