Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator ₦285,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
