Immediate opening: quality control inspector (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Christian County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
