Immediate opening: nursery worker (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in Chattooga County, Georgia. Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
