Vacancy available: conventional mill operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Westmoreland County, Virginia. You should have: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters.
