Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Wood County, Texas. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination You will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
