Nursery worker — Brunswick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Brunswick County, North Carolina. You will be based in a public park. On the job you will handle: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Full-time, day shift.
