Abattoir worker — Ford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Ford County, Kansas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
