Flatlock machine operator • Gumel, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Gumel, Jigawa State. The job is at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. ₦180,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
