Argon welding operator — Fune

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Fune, Yobe State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush We offer ₦11,500 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
