Turning centre operator • Wake County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Wake County, North Carolina. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
