Cnc setter-operator — Richmond County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Richmond County, North Carolina. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 2+ years on the tools preferred.
