Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Moore County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
