MIG/MAG welder — Henry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Henry County, Virginia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs.
