Panel welder — Klickitat County

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Klickitat County, Washington. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols 6+ years on the tools preferred.
