Join our team: we are hiring a crane operator in Marion County, Illinois. The job is on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
