We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Saginaw County, Michigan. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
