Gardener — Akure North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Akure North, Ondo State. On a typical shift you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
