Site labourer — Santa Clara County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site labourer in Santa Clara County, California. The job is on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
