Head butcher — Izzi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Izzi, Ebonyi State. You will work at a halal meat counter. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
