Foundry labourer — Buckinghamshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Buckinghamshire, England. On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Pay around £115 per day, based on your experience.
