Confectioner — Mahaska County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Mahaska County, Iowa. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
