Mechanical press operator — Washington Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
